Unified Print Management service provides a unified print management service platform to monitor and control print and copy transactions at the University.
Service heavily relies on the existing central infrastructure (server, database, storage, network and cost recovery) for a highly available, secure and resilient service.

Detailed month end transaction reports for each operational unit, from the 24th of the month 12:00:00 AM to 23rd of the following month 11:59:59 PM

Requires Passport York service authentication in order to print and/or copy

Print anywhere, anytime by uploading documents from a web browser using WebPrint

Print Management
Printer queues must be:
Support of Print and/or Copy devices
Libraries and local faculty I.T. support groups must own appropriate maintenance and support for all print and copy devices under Unified Print Management service.

Month end transaction reports for each department will be accessible to local administrative contact(s) as follows:
Secure Print and Copy
Requires Passport York service authentication in order to print and/or copy. An ACL (Access Control List) will be enforced on the device for authorized print and/or copy.

Print by uploading documents from a web browser is supported as follows:

- Currently, the default method of printing for Linux users is through WebPrint. Configuration instructions for native print may be provided later as available.
