Resolved - Central SCCM service degradation, February 22, 2021

UIT Service Advisory

Please note the performance of the SCCM service is back to healthy levels.  The service degradation reported previously has been resolved.  The root cause was determined to be with database indexing failures.  If you have an open SCCM console session, we highly recommend that you exit and reboot your workstation to start clean.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue caused and thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Please direct any questions or concerns to UIT Client Services.

UIT Service Advisory

Update on the issue reported last week.  The initial communication is included below for reference.  Root cause was identified to be corrupted ACLs on the software packages, which we have corrected.  However, we continue to receive reports of general performance degradation.  We have engaged Microsoft support for further assistance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this performance degradation is causing and thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
